About AFC Croydon Athletic
AFC Croydon Athletic are based in Thornton Heath in the London Borough of Croydon. Nicknamed the Rams, they were formed in 2012 by supporters after the original Croydon Athletic folded and play at the Mayfield Stadium.
They compete in the Isthmian League South East for the 2026/27 season. In 2025–26 they finished 2nd of 22 in the division. The club is owned by a consortium including Wilfried Zaha, Stormzy and Danny Young.
After initially groundsharing at Croydon Sports Arena, the Rams returned to the Mayfield Stadium in November 2014. Danny Kedwell is the current manager.

The club joined the Combined Counties League in 2012, later moving through the Southern Counties East League and Combined Counties Premier Division South before winning the 2023–24 play-offs to reach Step 4.
AFC Croydon Athletic won the Combined Counties Division One Cup in 2012–13 and the London Senior Trophy in 2014–15. Their record attendance is 1,262 for the 2025–26 Isthmian South East play-off final.
