About AFC Portchester
AFC Portchester are based in Portchester, a suburb of Fareham in Hampshire. Nicknamed the Royals (and Portchy), they were established in 1971 and play at The OnSite Group Stadium on Wicor Recreation Ground.
They compete in the Isthmian League South Central for the 2026/27 season. In 2025–26 they finished 5th of 22 in the division in their first season at Step 4 after winning the Wessex League Premier Division.
The OnSite Group Stadium has developed from a corner of Wicor Recreation Ground taken on in 2006 into a ground with multiple covered terraces, seated stands and function suites. The club planned a new 3G pitch for the start of the 2026–27 season.

The club began as Loyds Sports in 1971, became Wicor Mill in 1976 and adopted the name AFC Portchester in 2000. They climbed from local Hampshire football into the Wessex League and won an unprecedented quadruple in 2024–25: the Wessex Premier title, Wessex League Cup, Russell Cotes Cup and Portsmouth Senior Cup.
AFC Portchester won the Hampshire Senior Cup for the first time in 2023–24 and were awarded the Queen's Award for Voluntary Service in 2011. Their furthest FA Cup run to date is the second qualifying round.
