About AFC Stoneham
AFC Stoneham are based in Eastleigh, Hampshire. Founded in 1919 by demobilised soldiers, they are nicknamed the Purples and play at the Stoneham Football Complex.
They compete in the Isthmian League South Central for the 2026/27 season. In 2025–26 they were Wessex League Premier Division champions and were promoted, also winning the FA Vase, Southampton Senior Cup and Russell Cotes Cup.
The club moved to the £10M Stoneham Lane Football Complex in January 2020 and is one of the largest grassroots community clubs in England, with over 150 teams and 1,700 players.

The club was originally Royal Engineers (Ordnance Survey Office), later Ordnance Survey and Stoneham, before adopting the current name. They played at the Civil Service Ground, Lordshill Recreation Ground, Stoneham Park and Chestnut Avenue before the 2019 move.
Stoneham were Hampshire Premier League champions in 2007–08, Wessex Division One champions in 2018–19 and Wessex Premier champions in 2025–26. They won the Hampshire Senior Cup for the first time in 2024–25.

Leave the M27 at junction 5 (Southampton Airport). Take the first exit if travelling from the west or the third exit from the east, passing the back of Eastleigh Football Club.
