About Anstey Nomads

Anstey Nomads were formed in March 1946 by a merger of Anstey Methodists and St Mary's, initially as Anstey Meths and Mary's before adopting the Nomads name in 1947. They have been rooted in Leicestershire football ever since.

After winning the NPL Division One Midlands title in 2025–26, Anstey step up to the Southern League Premier Division Central for 2026–27 — a new highest level for the club.
