About Ashford United

Ashford United are based in Kingsnorth on the edge of Ashford, Kent. Nicknamed the Nuts & Bolts, they play at The Green Box Stadium — also known as the Homelands — and are one of few semi-professional clubs in England with a 3G pitch.

They compete in the Isthmian League South East for the 2026/27 season. In 2025–26 they finished 9th of 22. The current side is effectively a phoenix club, reformed in 2011 after the financial collapse of Ashford Town.

The club traces its origins to the first Ashford United side formed in 1891. Craig Stone was appointed permanent first-team manager in December 2025.
