Bath City were founded in 1889 and nicknamed the Romans. They are one of non-league football's best-supported clubs and were National League South regulars before relegation in 2025–26.

Twerton Park has been Bath City's home since 1932, though the site opened as Innox Park recreation ground in 1909. Physical capacity is 8,840 with 1,006 seats across four stands: the Grandstand, Popular Side, Bath End and Bristol End.

Record attendance is 18,020 vs Brighton in the 1960 FA Cup third round. Bristol Rovers shared the ground from 1986 to 1996. The Bristol End serves as the designated away terrace when segregation is in place.
