Bedworth Town won back-to-back Birmingham Combination titles in 1948–49 and 1949–50 before folding in 1968; Bedworth United replaced them in the West Midlands (Regional) League. The Oval on Coventry Road has been the home ground since 1939.
Record attendance at the Oval is 5,147 vs Nuneaton Borough in February 1982. The Greenbacks reached the Southern League Premier Division via the 2011–12 play-offs but were relegated the following season.
