Formed in 1905, Bishops Cleeve climbed through local leagues before joining the Hellenic League in 1983. They won the Hellenic Premier Division title in 2021–22 to return to the Southern League.
The club reached the Southern League play-offs in 2024–25, finishing third before losing to Malvern Town in the semi-finals. Their record attendance of 1,365 came against Hereford on Boxing Day 2016.
