About Bradford Park Avenue

Bradford (Park Avenue) Association Football Club are based in Bradford, West Yorkshire. The current phoenix club was established in 1987 after the original Football League club folded; the name distinguishes them from Bradford City.

They compete in the Northern Premier League East for 2026/27 and finished 5th of 22 in 2025–26. The original club reached the Football League top flight and won the old Third Division North title in 1927–28.

Since 1996 they have played at Horsfall Community Stadium, a shared community venue 2.5 miles south-west of Bradford city centre.

Stadium History & Features

Horsfall Community Stadium opened on 5 September 1931 as an athletics venue for Airedale Harriers. Bradford (Park Avenue) moved in in 1996 when the ground was upgraded for football.

The main stand was refurbished in 2007 with 1,800 seats from Lord's Cricket Ground. A 3G pitch was installed in 2020 under a 35-year community lease managed by Horsfall Community Stadium. Turnstiles are at Cemetery Road (west) and Park Road (east).
