About Brentford
Brentford Football Club is a professional football club based in Brentford, West London. Nicknamed the Bees, the club was founded in 1889 and played at Griffin Park from 1904 until moving to the Brentford Community Stadium in 2020. They compete in the Premier League.
Brentford have won the Second Division, the Third Division South, the Fourth Division and the League Two title, and reached the top flight for the first time since 1946–47 by winning the 2021 Championship play-off final. Their main rivals are Fulham, Chelsea and Queens Park Rangers. The new stadium, currently known as the Gtech Community Stadium for sponsorship, sits on Lionel Road less than a mile from Griffin Park and is at the heart of local regeneration plans.
For away fans, a visit to the Gtech offers a modern, compact ground with a triangular layout shaped by its site between railway lines and the M4. The stadium has two high-resolution LED screens and a Desso Grassmaster pitch. Away supporters are housed in the East Stand with an allocation of around 2,000.

Stadium History & Features
The Brentford Community Stadium was built on a 7.6-acre site off Lionel Road, within a triangle of railway lines. Construction began in 2017; the ground opened in September 2020. The distinctive triangular design reflects the constraints of the site between two railway lines and the M4. The stadium has two LED screens with among the highest resolution in a UK ground and a Desso Grassmaster fibre‑stitched pitch, as used at Wembley.
The West Stand and north‑east corner include rail‑seating for licensed safe standing. The stadium is cashless; contactless payment is used. There are over 300 cycle spaces in the north‑west and east corners. Visiting supporters must access the ground via the railway bridge to the East Stand; home fans use Gate E on Lionel Road South. There is no access between Gates E and F for away fans.
Away Fan Seating
Away fans are located in the East Stand, with an allocation of around 2,000. All visiting supporters must enter via the railway bridge from the East Stand side. Home fans use Gate E on Lionel Road South; there is no through access between E and F. Follow steward directions and signs to your block. The stadium opens 90 minutes before kick‑off; the club encourages arriving at least an hour before kick‑off to allow for security and transport.
