Brightlingsea Regent Football Club are based in Brightlingsea, Essex. Formed in 2005 by a merger of Brightlingsea United and Regent Park Rangers, they play at North Road and are nicknamed The R's.

Brightlingsea United moved to North Road in 1929. Floodlights were installed in 1988 and a 107-seat stand bought from eBay was installed in 2014, with a 150-capacity covered terrace added in 2017.

Brightlingsea Regent won Division One North of the Isthmian League in 2016–17 to reach the Premier Division, but were relegated back to the North Division in 2022–23 after finishing bottom of the Premier.

The club's predecessors Brightlingsea United won the Essex Senior League in 1988–89 and 1989–90. Record attendance at North Road is 1,200 for a friendly against Colchester United in 1988.
