Stadium History & Features

Sneinton won three consecutive Notts Alliance titles from 1907–09 and reached the FA Amateur Cup third round four times before World War I. The club moved to Stoke Lane in Gedling in the early 1990s and became Carlton Town in 2002.

The Bill Stokeld Stadium was named in 2004 after a former chairman. A link road built through the ground in 2006–07 required relocating the pitch within the site. Carlton reached NPL Division One South via the NCEL in 2006–07.
