Stadium History & Features

Founded in 1954 by Brian Baker and schoolmaster Ray Derry, Chasetown moved through local Staffordshire leagues before joining the West Midlands (Regional) League in 1972. They relocated to The Scholars Ground in 1983 and won the Midland Alliance in 2005–06.

FA Cup runs in 2005–06 and 2007–08 brought national coverage and record crowds. After Southern and Northern Premier League spells, ground redevelopment in December 2023 saw Chasetown reopen with an artificial surface and improved facilities.
