Chelmsford City Football Club is based in Chelmsford, Essex, and plays at Melbourne Stadium (Dunmow Group Community Stadium). An amateur Chelmsford club existed from 1878; the professional club was formed in 1938.

After New Writtle Street was sold in 1997 the club ground-shared away from Chelmsford before returning in January 2006 as tenants at Melbourne Stadium / Chelmsford Sport and Athletics Centre.

Wikipedia lists capacity at 3,502 (about 1,300 seated). The ground was renamed the Dunmow Group Community Stadium under sponsorship from July 2025.
