Chippenham Town were founded in 1884 and are Wiltshire's leading non-league club. They reached the FA Vase final at Wembley in 2000 and won the Southern League Premier title in 2016–17 to reach the National League South.

Relegation from the National League South in 2025–26 returns the Bluebirds to the Southern League Premier Division South for 2026–27.

Hardenhuish Park has been home since 1919 after the club played at several earlier grounds. Capacity is 3,000 (300 seated) with a Main Stand, covered terracing and a noticeable pitch slope descending towards the Town End.

Floodlights were installed in 1986 and a new pitch-level Bluebirds Bar clubhouse opened in 2020. Record attendance is approximately 4,800 for a 1951 Western League derby.

From M4 J17 take the A350 towards Chippenham, follow signs through the Bumpers Farm and Folly roundabouts towards the town centre on the A4/Bristol Road. The ground is approximately 600 yards on the left before a pedestrian crossing (official how-to-find-us page).
