About Coventry United

Coventry United Football Club are based in Coventry, West Midlands. Founded on 1 July 2013 after a takeover of Coventry Spartans, they are nicknamed the Red and Greens and play at the Nick Newbold Stadium (Butts Park Arena) in the Northern Premier League Midlands for 2026/27.

They were promoted via the 2025–26 United Counties League Premier Division South play-offs after finishing second. The club moved to Butts Park Arena in 2017–18 and groundshare with Coventry RFC.

Home kit colours are Coventry's civic red and green. Terry Anderson is the long-serving manager, having led the club to multiple Midland Football League titles.

Butts Park Arena was built in 2004 as home of Coventry RFC; Coventry United moved in from the 2017–18 season. The pitch was replaced with an artificial surface in June 2019, per Wikipedia.

The phoenix club climbed from Midland League Division Three to the UCL Premier Division South in little over a decade, winning Division Two in 2014–15 and Division One in 2015–16 under Terry Anderson.
