About Falmouth Town

Falmouth Town are a Cornwall club nicknamed the Town, formed in 1949 and based at Bickland Park. They were the first Cornish club to reach the FA Cup first round proper.

They compete in the Southern League Division One South for the 2026/27 season. In 2025–26 they finished 14th of 22.

Bickland Park opened in August 1957 and has covered stands on all four sides. Floodlights were installed in 1973 and first used in April 1974.

Falmouth reached the FA Cup first round in 1962–63, 1967–68 and 1969–70, including an 8,000 crowd against Oxford United in 1962–63. They won eight consecutive Western League titles between 1974–75 and 1977–78 after joining from the South Western League.

The club won the Western League Premier Division in 2023–24 and beat Clevedon Town 2–0 in the play-off final to reach the Southern League for the first time. They have won the Cornwall Senior Cup on numerous occasions, most recently in 2023–24.
