About Felixstowe and Walton United

Felixstowe & Walton United Football Club are based in Felixstowe, Suffolk. Nicknamed The Seasiders, they were formed in 2000 by a merger of Felixstowe Port & Town and Walton United and play at Dellwood Avenue — known as the Martello Ground.

They compete in the Isthmian League North for the 2026/27 season. In 2025–26 they finished 2nd of 22 in the division and won the Suffolk Premier Cup.

The Martello Ground has a capacity of 2,160 including 200 covered seats across two grandstands, with further covered terracing and a large clubhouse.

Felixstowe Port & Town and Walton United both had long histories in Suffolk football before merging in 2000. The merged club reached the Isthmian North in 2018 and have twice finished as North Division runners-up.

In 2023–24 Felixstowe lost a play-off semi-final to Bowers & Pitsea on penalties. Record attendance at Dellwood Avenue is 2,350 for a friendly against Ipswich Town on 1 July 2023.

Getting to Dellwood Avenue

By Car

From the A14 at Ipswich, cross the Orwell Bridge signposted Felixstowe. At the Dock Spur roundabout keep left and take the first exit signposted Town Centre. At the next roundabout take the first exit, then at the following roundabout take the fourth exit onto Beatrice Avenue. Dellwood Avenue is the first road on the left; the Martello Ground is about 100 metres on the left.

Limited parking is inside the ground with ample on-street parking in Dellwood Avenue. Respect neighbours' access to their properties.

Travel Tip
