About Hendon

Hendon Football Club are a semi-professional club based in north-west London, nicknamed the Greens or the Dons. They were established in 1908 as Christchurch Hampstead and have played at Silver Jubilee Park in Kingsbury since 2016.

They compete in the Isthmian League South Central for 2026/27. In 2025–26 they finished 17th of 22.

Hendon were Athenian League champions three times and won the FA Amateur Cup in 1959–60, 1964–65 and 1971–72, plus the Isthmian League title in 1964–65 and 1972–73.

After 81 years at Claremont Road in Cricklewood (1926–2008), the club ground-shared at Northwood, Staines, Wembley and Harrow Borough before moving to Silver Jubilee Park on a share with Edgware Town in 2016.

Getting to Silver Jubilee Park

By Car

From Staples Corner travel north on the A5 through West Hendon, turn into Kingsbury Road at the traffic lights, then take the third left into Townsend Lane at the top of the hill. The ground is in the bottom left corner of Silver Jubilee Park.

On-site parking is limited and the car park is often closed well before kick-off; use side-street parking courteously.

By Train

Nearest National Rail station is Hendon (Thameslink). Buses 83 and 183 pass the station — alight 83 at Slough Lane or 183 at Townsend Lane for a 5–10 minute walk.

By Tube & Bus

Nearest tube is Kingsbury (Jubilee Line), about a 20-minute walk along the main road then right down Townsend Lane, or bus 183 to the top of Townsend Lane.

Buses 83 and 302 also stop at Slough Lane.

Travel Tip

On-site parking fills early — Hendon station plus bus 83 to Slough Lane avoids the steep hill walk from Townsend Lane.
