About London Lions
London Lions are based at Rowley Lane in Arkley on the edge of Barnet, London. Nicknamed the Lions, they were established as MALEX in 1995 by Maccabi Association London and renamed London Lions in 1999.
They compete in the Southern League Division One Central for the 2026/27 season. In 2025–26 they finished 18th of 22. Andrew Landesberg is chairman and first-team manager.
The club returned to Rowley Lane in 2015 after floodlights and the Alan Mattey Stand were installed. They won the 2024–25 Spartan South Midlands League play-offs on penalties against Wormley Rovers to reach Step 4.

London Lions won Hertfordshire Senior County League titles in 1999–2000 and 2009–10 before climbing through the Spartan South Midlands and Combined Counties leagues. They won the 2021–22 Combined Counties Division One title and completed a double with the Division One Challenge Cup.
The club groundshared at St Albans City, Broxbourne Borough and Hemel Hempstead Town between 2010 and 2015 while Rowley Lane was upgraded to Step 4 standards.
