About Maidenhead United
Maidenhead United Football Club, founded in October 1870, plays at York Road in Maidenhead town centre. The FA recognises York Road as the oldest continuously used senior football ground by the same club (since 1871).
Nicknamed the Magpies, they were among the 15 clubs in the first FA Cup in 1871–72. After National League years from 2017 they returned to National League South following relegation in 2024–25.
