Stadium History & Features

Causeway Lane is a three-sided ground sharing its site with Matlock Cricket Club; the cricket pitch occupies the southern end and the boundary can extend into the football penalty area when the dividing fence is removed in summer.

A wooden stand was built in 1920 (later the Cyril Harrison Stand) and another in 1959. The east side was redeveloped in 2010 with the first all-seater stand and new pavilion, reducing peak capacity from the 1975 record of 5,123.

Away Fan Seating

There is no dedicated away end. Visiting supporters can move freely on all three accessible sides of the ground, as confirmed on the club's official stadium guide.
