Merstham Football Club are based in Merstham, Surrey. Nicknamed the Moatsiders, they were founded in 1892 and play at the Hybrid Fitness Stadium (Moatside).

They compete in the Isthmian League South East for the 2026/27 season. In 2025–26 they finished 10th of 22.

The club moved to Moatside in the early 1920s. Floodlights were installed in 1990–91 and the ground record attendance of 1,920 was set for an FA Cup first-round tie against Oxford United in November 2016.

Merstham were founder members of the Redhill & District League in 1897 and won the Combined Counties League Premier Division title in 2007–08, earning promotion to the Isthmian League. They reached the Isthmian Premier Division in 2015–16 and have won the Surrey Senior Cup three times.

Players originally changed in nearby hedges before using the Jollieffe Arms pub; a 90-capacity stand opened in 1974 and changing rooms were built in 1960.

Getting to Hybrid Fitness Stadium

By car from M25 east

Leave the M25 at junction 6 (Godstone), take the second exit off the roundabout and follow the one-way system signs for Redhill A25 through Bletchingley. Turn right immediately after the Red Lion pub, go under the motorway bridge, at the second mini-roundabout turn left into Weldon Way; the ground is 100 yards on the right (mersthamfc.com).

By car from M25 west

Leave the M25 at junction 8 (Reigate), take the A217 towards Reigate/Redhill, then follow Back Lane, Gatton Bottom, London Road/A23 and School Hill. Take the second exit at the next mini-roundabout into Weldon Way. Note: coaches cannot use the low bridge on School Hill (mersthamfc.com).

By train

Merstham station is approximately a 10-minute walk from the ground, with regular trains from London Victoria, London Bridge, Horsham and Redhill (mersthamfc.com).
