About Moneyfields

Moneyfields Football Club are based in Portsmouth, affiliated to the Hampshire FA, and nicknamed the Moneys. Founded in 1987 as Portsmouth Civil Service, they adopted their current name in 1994.

They compete in the Isthmian League South Central for 2026/27. In 2025–26 they finished 4th of 22.

Home matches are at the John Jenkins Stadium in Copnor — a redeveloped multi-sport facility with two enclosed 3G pitches, renamed after D-Day veteran John Jenkins when the club returned in 2024.

Stadium History & Features

Moneyfields won three successive promotions in the early 1990s and the Hampshire League Division One title in 1996–97 before progressing through the Wessex League to the Isthmian League.

The club ground-shared at Havant & Waterlooville's Westleigh Park during 2022–23 redevelopment, returning to the renamed John Jenkins Stadium in 2024. Record competitive attendance of 753 was set on 3 January 2026 vs AFC Portchester.

From the A27 west or east take the Southsea (A2030) exit, head south on Eastern Road, turn right at the 4th traffic lights into Tangiers Road. Continue past the school and shops, take the next right into Folkestone Road, through to Martins Road — the John Jenkins Stadium is directly ahead.

By Train

Approximately 29 minutes walk from Hilsea (HLS) or 39 minutes from Fratton station.

By Bus

Closest stop is Chichester Road (between Kendal and Keswick Avenue on Copnor Road) — about a 6-minute walk to the ground.
