Stadium History & Features

Mossley began as Park Villa in 1903, became Mossley Juniors, and adopted the Mossley AFC name in 1909. They moved to Seel Fold in 1912 — later Seel Park from 1931 — using the adjacent Highland Laddie Hotel as headquarters in early years.

Cheshire County League success preceded Northern Premier League titles in 1978–79 and 1979–80. After relegation from the NPL Premier Division in 1983–84, Mossley dropped to the NWCFL before returning and winning NPL Division One in 2005–06.
