Paulton Rovers joined the Western Football League in 1900 and returned to the Southern League in 2004. They reached the FA Cup first round proper in 2009–10 after beating Chippenham Town in the fourth qualifying round.

The ground at Winterfield Road has been home for over 50 years. A second stand and covered terracing were added in 2004, and the club has won the Somerset Senior Cup twelve times.

Exit the M4 at Junction 18 and take the A46 and A4 to Bath, then follow the A367 towards Radstock and Wells. Continue to Radstock town centre, turn right at the roundabout, straight over the next two mini-roundabouts, turn right at the third, straight over the next roundabout to Paulton signed 'Paulton Rovers FC'. By car from the north

Exit the M5 at Junction 15 onto the M4 eastbound, leave at Junction 19 onto the M32 into Bristol, then follow the A37 towards Wells and Shepton Mallet through Pensford and Temple Cloud to Farrington Gurney. Turn left at the traffic lights past the Co-op, continue to Tesco on the right, turn left at the next roundabout to Paulton signed 'Paulton Rovers FC'. By car from the south and south-west

From Warminster take the A362 to Frome and Radstock, then follow the same Radstock and Paulton village directions. From Wells take the A39 towards Bristol, turn right at Farrington Gurney traffic lights, continue to Tesco and follow signs to Paulton (paultonrovers.co.uk).
