Portland United are based on the Isle of Portland, Dorset. Nicknamed the Blues, they were founded in 1921 and play at the Camp & Satherley Stadium on Grove Road — capacity 1,500.

They compete in the Southern League Division One South for the 2026/27 season. In 2025–26 they finished 3rd in the Wessex League Premier Division and won promotion via the play-offs. Matthew Lucas is chairman and Craig Adams and Kyle Critchell are managers.

The club moved from Grove Corner to New Grove Corner in 1994 and won the Wessex League Premier Division title in 2016–17 before returning to Step 4 in 2026.

Portland United joined the Western League Division Two in 1925 and won the Dorset Senior Cup on four occasions before the Second World War. They won the Dorset Premier League seven times and returned to the Wessex League in 2015.

In 2024–25 they beat Laverstock & Ford in a play-off final at the Camp & Satherley to earn promotion to the Southern League Division One South.

By car

On entering the Isle of Portland, stay on the main road signposted for Easton to the top of the island — a sharp steep hairpin bend with the Portland Heights Hotel in front of you. Continue towards Easton into Yeats Road and Easton Lane. One hundred yards after passing the Drill Hall turn left into Grove Road. Portland United are 200–300 yards on the left (portlandunitedfc.uk).
