About Redbridge
Redbridge Football Club are based in Barkingside in the London Borough of Redbridge. Nicknamed the Motormen, they were formed in 1959 as Ford United by the merger of Ford Sports (Dagenham) and Briggs Sports, and rebranded as Redbridge FC in July 2004.
They compete in the Isthmian League North for the 2026/27 season. In 2025–26 they finished 5th of 22. Hashtag United will ground-share at Oakside Stadium from the start of 2026–27.
The club play at the Techsoc.Com Stadium (Oakside Stadium) on Station Road. A brand-new 3G playing surface was laid from the start of the 2024–25 season.

Stadium History & Features
Redbridge reached the FA Cup second round in 2011–12, beating Ebbsfleet United and Oxford City before losing to Crawley Town. They were relegated to the Essex Senior League in 2015 but returned to the Isthmian League in 2022–23 via an inter-league play-off final victory over Haywards Heath Town.
In 2023–24 Redbridge won the Essex Senior Cup for the first time, beating Colchester United on penalties. Chris Taylor became manager in October 2024 following George Christou's departure.
The ground was purchased from Barkingside FC in 2001, allowing substantial improvements under chairman Jimmy Chapman.

Getting to Oakside Stadium
By Train
Take the London Underground Central Line to Barkingside (Hainault via Newbury Park branch). Redbridge FC state the ground is a five-minute walk from the station.
By Car
Via A12: turn right onto Horns Road (by McDonald's), then right onto Craven Gardens, first right into Carlton Drive (signposted Redbridge FC), straight across the roundabout onto Station Road — the ground is on your right over the hill.
Via M11: exit at A12, take 2nd exit signed Chelmsford/Romford/Gants Hill, continue to Gants Hill roundabout, 2nd exit A123 towards Barkingside, right at traffic lights onto Tanners Lane, left onto Craven Gardens, first right into Carlton Drive, then as above.
Travel Tip
Barkingside on the Central Line is the easiest rail option — just five minutes' walk from the Techsoc.Com Stadium.
