About Runcorn Linnets
Runcorn Linnets Football Club are a supporter-owned phoenix club based in Runcorn, Cheshire. Formed on 28 April 2006 after Runcorn F.C. Halton’s demise, they are nicknamed the Yellows or Linnets and compete in the Northern Premier League West for 2026/27.
They finished 4th of 22 in 2025–26, losing in the play-off semi-final. The club is run by a Supporters Trust registered under the Co-operative and Community Benefit Societies Act 2014.
From 2025–26 they ground-share the APEC Taxis Stadium with Northwich Victoria. The ground opened in July 2010 at Halton Sports, Murdishaw, after an initial groundshare with Witton Albion at Wincham Park.

The APEC Taxis Stadium (originally Millbank Linnets Stadium) was built with Halton Council backing as part of the Return 2 Runcorn project. From 2020–21 the club play on a state-of-the-art hybrid grass pitch.
Record play-off attendance is 1,600 for the 2021–22 final against Marine. The licensed MDB Gas Clubhouse and tea bar serve supporters on matchdays.
Away Fan Seating
For segregated fixtures away supporters enter via Turnstile 2 while home fans use Turnstile 1. No fixed away allocation is published for every league game — follow stewards and fixture notices.
