About Shifnal Town

Shifnal Town Football Club are based in Shifnal, Shropshire. Nicknamed the Town (also the Reds), the modern club was founded in 1964 as St Andrew’s Youth Club and were promoted to the Northern Premier League West for 2026/27 after finishing second and winning the play-off final in 2025–26 — the highest level in their history.

They finished 12th of 22 in their debut NPL West season. Previous honours include West Midlands (Regional) League Premier Division titles in 1980–81, 1981–82 and 2006–07.

Home matches are at the Acoustafoam Stadium (formerly Phoenix Park) on Coppice Green Lane, sponsored since 2018.

After losing their lease on Admirals Park in 1985 the club purchased land and built Phoenix Park, later renamed the Acoustafoam Stadium. The club reached the FA Vase fourth round three times in the early 1980s.

Connor Patterson was appointed first-team manager in May 2023. The ground has a capacity of 1,500.
