About Slimbridge

Slimbridge represent the village of Slimbridge near Dursley, Gloucestershire, although their ground is in nearby Cambridge. Nicknamed the Swans, they were founded in 1902 and play at Thornhill Park — capacity 1,500.

They compete in the Southern League Division One South for the 2026/27 season. In 2025–26 they won the Hellenic League Premier Division title and returned to Step 4. Barry Gay and Colin Gay are chairmen and Adam Coyle and Tom Deakin are managers.

The ground was renamed Thornhill Park on 26 July 2016 in honour of former chairman Evi Thornhill, who bequeathed the land to the club in 1951.
