South Park were founder members of the Redhill & District Football League in 1897. They purchased land on Whitehall Lane in the 1920s, vesting it to the National Playing Fields Association; the site was renamed King George's Field in 1935.
Reigate Town merged with South Park in 2001. The club won the Combined Counties Premier Division in 2013–14, reached the FA Cup fourth qualifying round in 2012–13 (record attendance 643 vs Metropolitan Police), and won the Surrey Senior Cup in 2023–24.
