Inkberrow FC was formed in 1978 and registered as Sporting Club Inkberrow FC in 2019 when joining the Midland League. Sir Bobby Robson officially launched the Sands Road facilities in 2008.
The site includes a pavilion with bar and café, four full-size grass pitches, a 4G training facility opened in 2025, and shared cricket facilities with Inkberrow Cricket Club.
