Thame United are based in Thame, Oxfordshire. Nicknamed the Red Kites, they were formed in 1883 and play at Meadow View Park — commercially known as the ASM Stadium — with a capacity of 2,500.

They compete in the Southern League Division One Central for the 2026/27 season. In 2025–26 they finished 5th of 22. Ben Williams is the first-team manager and Richard Carr is chairman.

The £3.1 million Meadow View Park opened in December 2010. The 20-acre site includes multiple pitches, a club bar and function rooms, and has hosted Oxford United for the official opening friendly.

Stadium History & Features

Thame United won Hellenic League titles in 1961–62 and 1969–70 before climbing through the South Midlands and Isthmian leagues. They reached the FA Vase semi-finals in 1998–99 under Andy Sinnott.

Financial difficulties in 2005 led to groundsharing with Aylesbury United and AFC Wallingford before the move to Meadow View Park. The club won the 2016–17 Hellenic League Premier Division title to return to the Southern League.
