Walthamstow Football Club are a semi-professional club based in Walthamstow, London. Nicknamed Stow, they were founded in 1868 as Leyton F.C. and have played under several names including Leyton Pennant and Waltham Forest before becoming Walthamstow FC in 2018.
They compete in the Isthmian League North for the 2026/27 season — their first Isthmian North campaign since 2014 after being transferred back for 2023–24. In 2025–26 they finished 10th of 22.
Home matches are at Match Day Centres — Wadham Lodge Sports Ground on Kitchener Road. The club returned to Wadham Lodge in July 2013 after a five-year exile in Ilford.

Waltham Forest won the Essex Senior League in 2021–22 under joint managers John Mackie and Terry Spillane, earning promotion to Southern League Division One Central. The club was acquired by Lee Doherty in 2018 and renamed Walthamstow FC.
The 2023–24 season saw William Morris Gallery collaboration kits — described by the Isthmian League as a world first between a museum and football club. Walthamstow were transferred back to the Isthmian North for 2023–24.
Wadham Lodge has covered terraces at each end and a main stand. The club finished 6th in 2023–24 and 10th in 2024–25 under successive managers.

Walthamstow Central (Victoria Line / London Overground from Liverpool Street to Chingford) is the nearest station. Cross to the bus station and take bus 34, 97, 215 or 357 towards Chingford.
Alight at Cazenove Road stop on Chingford Road, cross into Brookscroft Road, continue to the end, turn left into Kitchener Road — the ground is on the right. Allow about 20 minutes from the station.
By Car
From the A406 North Circular, exit at Crooked Billet roundabout and head south on A112 (Chingford Road). First left into Brookscroft Road (St John's Church on the corner), follow to the end, left into Kitchener Road — ground on the right.
Use sat-nav postcode E17 4LL for the ground entrance. Do not approach via Fulbourne Road — a barrier blocks Brookscroft Road from that direction.
