Ware won the Spartan League Premier Division in 1952–53 and the Isthmian League Division Two title in 2005–06. They have won the Herts Senior Cup five times across three centuries — one of only three clubs to reach the final in the 19th, 20th and 21st centuries.

The club moved to Wodson Park and have maintained a place in the Isthmian or Southern leagues since 1975. They returned to the Southern League ahead of the 2021–22 season.

From the north on the A10, exit at the A1170 junction, take the second major exit at the roundabout and the entrance is 100m on the left. The football club is to the left of Wodson Park Sports Centre (warefc.co.uk).

By bus

The 331 bus stops outside the Wodson Park entrance on Wadesmill Road (warefc.co.uk).

Travel Tip

Wodson Park is on the northern outskirts of Ware on the A1170 — the entrance is just beyond the summit of the hill from the town centre.
