Willand Rovers were formed after the collapse of Willand Wanderers in 1946. They won the Devon County League twice before promotion to the Western League in 2001 and reached the FA Vase quarter-finals in 2018–19.

The Stan Robinson Stadium sits on the B3181 through the centre of Willand. The club won the Les Phillips Cup three times and reached the FA Trophy first round in 2021–22 and 2022–23.

Leave the M5 southbound at Junction 27, take the first exit at the roundabout onto the A38 towards Wellington, continue 0.5 miles to the Waterloo Cross Inn roundabout and take the second exit onto the B3181. Follow for 2 miles to Willand, take the second exit at the first roundabout to stay on Silver Street, and the ground is on your left after 0.5 miles (willandrovers.co.uk).

By car from the south

Leave the M5 at Junction 28 towards Cullompton, pass the Weary Traveller pub and follow signed roundabouts to Willand onto the B3181. Pass a filling station on the left and the ground is about half a mile further on the right (willandrovers.co.uk).
