Willand Rovers were formed after the collapse of Willand Wanderers in 1946. They won the Devon County League twice before promotion to the Western League in 2001 and reached the FA Vase quarter-finals in 2018–19.
The Stan Robinson Stadium sits on the B3181 through the centre of Willand. The club won the Les Phillips Cup three times and reached the FA Trophy first round in 2021–22 and 2022–23.
