They compete in the Isthmian League North for the 2026/27 season. In 2025–26 they finished 9th of 22. They were promoted to the Isthmian Premier in 2014 via the play-offs but have since returned to Step 4.
Home matches are at the Simarco Stadium on Spa Road, which has a capacity of 2,500 (250 seated). Floodlights were added in 1984.

Witham were founder members and inaugural champions of the Essex Senior League in 1971–72, winning the title again in 1985–86. They joined Isthmian Division Two North in 1987 and reached the Isthmian Premier via the 2014 play-offs with a 3–0 final win over Harlow Town.
The club moved to Spa Road in 1975 after playing at the Crittall Windows works ground in the town centre. Record attendance is 1,205, set on 7 March 2026 against Gorleston.
Clubs named Witham Town have existed since the mid-19th century; the original club was disbanded in 1914 and again during World War II before the current reformation.
