About Worthing
Worthing Football Club is based in Worthing, West Sussex, and plays at Woodside Road (Sussex Transport Community Stadium). Founded in 1886, the club is nicknamed the Rebels (also the Mackerel Men).
They won the National League South title in 2025–26 and were promoted to the National League. An artificial pitch was installed in 2015 and fully re-laid in 2021.
A sports ground has stood on the site since 1892; the club moved there in 1901 and the current Woodside Road layout dates from 1937. A West Stand (about 750) was built in 2023–24 and a North Stand (1,800) in 2024.

Stadium History & Features
Woodside Road developed from the Pavilion Road Sports Ground. Floodlights were installed in 1977. The main stand burned down after 1984–85 and was replaced in 1986.
Wikipedia records a record attendance of 4,002 against Ebbsfleet United on 25 April 2026. The club also notes National League rules mean alcohol may not be consumed in view of the pitch.
